Yesterday there was a disscussion on NDTV that whether students of science stream are having  narrow mindset, and to rectify the same subjects from humanities may be added in their curriculam. In the background of incidence of increasing caste feeling in primier institutions like IIT &AIIMS this issue is relevant. We should understand thatbefore Arjun Singhs sectarian act and Mandal commission, there was no such issue. It is not that ST SC OBC were not in such institutions. But after disproportional representation after Mandal commission such acts have increased, obviously in retaliation.

In todays context one does not support reservation is non progressive. I am not against reservation. But one can not deny, there is an urgent need of tweaking the modalities of reservation, or else society will not achieve the goal which is expected out of reservation.
